October 30, 2025 - The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip faced a severe crisis. Mohammad Nazzal, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his ruling circle of attempting to evade implementation of the Sharm el-Sheikh Agreement regarding the Gaza ceasefire. Nazzal told Lebanon's Al Mayadeen network that Netanyahu, under the pretext that Hamas had violated the agreement, seeks to reignite the flames of war.
Meanwhile, Tahir al-Nunu, media adviser to Hamas, stressed all Palestinian resistance groups are committed to the ceasefire. Mohammed al-Haj Mousa, media spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, said the United States must serve as the guarantor of the ceasefire. Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani stated on October 30 that his country is monitoring the challenges to the ceasefire and described the situation as "disappointing," adding "We worked to contain it, and Washington is committed to the agreement".
