Connecting the Future World: Google's Project Loon Lands in Indonesia

In February 2015, Google's Project Loon announced a partnership with three major mobile operators in Indonesia, planning to use high-altitude balloons to provide internet access to hundreds of millions of people in remote areas of Indonesia. Project Loon (later Loon LLC) aimed to create a floating wireless network in the stratosphere to solve the global "last-mile" connectivity challenge.

This collaboration highlighted the role of tech giants in building Future World infrastructure, utilizing disruptive communication technology to bridge the digital divide, especially in countries lacking traditional fiber-optic networks.
