UN Report: Gaza Facing Worst Economic Collapse Ever Recorded

A report from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), highlighted on November 25, 2025, warns that the Occupied Palestinian Territory is now in its deepest economic crisis ever recorded, with Gaza suffering an "unprecedented and catastrophic" collapse.

The report indicates that the prolonged military operation and long-standing restrictions have driven the economy of the region into its most severe contraction on record, wiping out decades of development gains and deepening fiscal and social fragility.
